Andrea the german cowgirl was guiding our clients in the season 2003-2004 through the mountains. With her broad horse knowledge as well as her good feeling for people made us a great guide. Thanks -dreawo- and don't forget to take your dog :-)

Chile Horse back, tourguide

Debbs, the english who came straight from dusty Africa to the rainy Patagonian forest for the 2002-2003 season. She impressed with her founded horse knowledge and how to maintain and animate people. She fell in love here in Chile's South (and not only with the nature). He is still waiting for you ...

Chile cowboy, huaso

You are looking for the Marlboro-man? Here he is, Eulojio. He grew up in Cochamó and knows the region as his pocket. He is a bushrunner. Telling him about survival training in the forest, he will just smile. The horses are his pets, he is the horse whisperer of the area.

Chile cowboy, Huaso

Gabriel, every girls dream. A little shy, but an outdoor guy. He lives for his horses and has his own cows and bulls. Gabriel is a Cochamó native, as well as his sister Ana. He is our main guide for the long trips. Everytime a smile on his lips, Gabriel will bring you by horsecart to the bus. Gordo, créeme, ella volverá :-)

Chile farm

Hector the mountain man who wants to live as remote as possible. He has the abilities to survive in each condition. He lived 3 years alone with 6000 sheeps on fireland. Not speaking to much, he found his wife in a remote place as well and they worked with us for 2 years, before they left to fireland again.

Travel Chile by car

José-Luis the man, who finds you everthing. He is not only responsible for the buyings, but also for the transfers. Whereever you want to be brought, difficult that he would not know the place. Working since 15 years in tourism, he has a broad knowledge.

He is guiding, makes administrative stuff, cooks, feeds horses ad much more.

Travel Chile with children

Hannah knows all the native trees and animals of the valley. Growing up in this paradise is every childs dream. She helps in everthing and is already a good rider. She speaks fluently 3 languages and is going to school in Cochamó.

Horse back Chile, trail guide

Stefanie, guide in 2003-2004 learned in Chile how to make bread. Her profounded horse knowledge made it possible that she did a great job. Besides wood chopping, the horseraces was one of her favorite hobbies in Cochamó... y el cowboy :-)

Volunteer work in Chile

Petra stayed in 2003 at Cochamó as a volunteer worker as do every year at about half a dozen of travellers. Volunteer working in exchange of food and lodging is a good alternative for longtime travellers.

Olivia's kitchen is like coming home, everytime something to eat, a cup of coffee and of course her excellent pastries. As long as you are not her employer, then she put's you on diet! Grrrr...!
You like vegetarian food or exquisit fish dishes, come in and try out her vegetarian restaurant. As chef she is famous and as huasa (cowgirl) she needs some more training, but she tries hard.
