You can get all type of films in Chile, even in
Puerto Varas or Puerto Montt, but we recommend to buy films at cheaper
places. Advantix is possible as well, but only 200 ASA.
In the rainforest, you need minimum 200 ASA and in the Andes 50-100 ASA
films.
Lead film bags, e.g. "Filmshield", protect your films during airport x-ray
checks. No problem when you are in hurry, in town you can get your fotos
in 1 hour.
If you come with
a digital one, don't forget to bring enough memory. It's not everytime
possible to buy the latest hightech options here in the South. Very good
to bring a USB cable and a copy from the camera software. To burn CD's
with your fotos, it's easier than downloading each time at the internet
places.
Watch out how
much time your batteries lasts. In the South you will get very probably
in touch with rain, one or the other day, therefore it's good to have a
waterproof camerabag. |
